The Organic School Project is currently working on several new projects.  Along with our direct educational programs, we are working on creating an extensive Learning Library.  The Learning Library will include the following areas:

GROW: The Learning Library will include a step-by-step guide to starting and maintaining school gardens.  This includes information on a wide range of gardening topics such as soils, supplies, what to grow and when, how to care for gardens, and much more.

FEED:  This section is for schools and cafeteria staff, and will give them access to information about sustainable food systems.  It will also provide details about the process and steps needed to transition school feeding systems into healthier and environmentally friendly programs.

TEACH: The teach section will include an extensive body of curriculum that will meet Illinois state standards which covers all aspects of our wellness, gardening, cooking, and nutrition lessons.  Our lesson plans are carefully crafted to inspire children and cultivate insights, which create an authentic learning experience.

The intention of the learning library is to reach out to more schools and communities, and empower them with the tools to implement their own programs.

Any size contribution is greatly appreciated and all donors will be honored on our website and receive our e-newsletter, with updates about our new projects and events!
